Hi I am Mats Magnusson ,

Who am I

I am a 46 year old developer who lives in Malmö with my partner Jessica in flat in Västra Hamnen. I have a big passion for IT, sports, music, movies and trading. My sparetime is divided by these things, but most of my spare time is infront of a computer. Either programming or researching ideas for new projects, or studying techniques that I want to learn. At the moment I’m creating a React application, because I haven’t really used that framework before. And I like it so far, I will publish it here on my projects tab as soon as it’s ready so you can read about it. So my programming skills are groing on a day by day base. I love developing new applications in different program languages, but my preffered is language is javascript.

My working background is varied with working in sales both online and in person and in IT as developer.
At the moment I am working at IBM as a contractor on a huge project in healthcare. The project is called SDV (Skånes Digital Healthcare Journal System) and I’m working as an interface engineer. Connecting old system to the new one (Cerner Millenium) and migrating data from the old source systems.

Working history

Interface Engineer, IBM CIC Sweden

2018 — present

I'm working at IBM as an consultant for Cerner Health Care in the SDV project (Skånes Digitala Journalsystem). My role in the project is as an Interface Engineer connecting foregin systems to the future system (Cerner Millenium). To do that we use the Open Link and the Open Engine platform. I also work with migrating data from the old source system. In my daily work I mainly I use CCL (Cerner Command Language) which is similar to SQL to do database lookups and for programming scripts.

IT, Elselect

2014 — 2015

I worked as the IT guy, responsible for all conserning IT. I was responsible for software support, all the hardware and network. I also managed the companys homepage.

Webshop, Ljud & Bild

2010 — 2013

I started a company named Avshoppen where I sold home electronics via the webshop. I built the company from scratch and I did everything from setting up the shop, working with distributors and setting up campaigns. I shipped the products and was managing the support. After a year I merged with a physical home electronics store in Staffanstorp called Ljud & Bild. And continued in doing so until the shops were closed in 2013.
